Local coffee shop locator 

The objective of the project was to create an app to help locals and tourists discover a new coffee scene close by. Citysip is more than a map app, it's also a guide to the best local approved coffee shops in town.

The concept for Citysip was created to bring a locals perspective to someone who is new in town. Through our on-line project survey, it was discovered that the most common coffee default while traveling was to go to big chains, when most of our survey responses were interested in local coffee shops. With the help of Citysip, tourists can find their way to the best coffee through or personalization features. Citysip was designed to cater to all coffee needs, whether that is allergies, milk preferences, or desired environments of a coffee shop. Users are able to eliminate coffee shops that will not meet their coffee needs, and skip right to the best places for them. Users are also able to view photos in our coffee shop location galleries and also add their own photos. Another feature allows users to skip the line or order a surprise drink for a friend, for pick up in store. With out personalized profiles, friends can view other friends drink preferences and purchase a drink for them right through our app. Users are also encouraged to check out our drink build feature to educate themselves on all kinds of coffee drinks. Related drinks are also recommended to users based on their profile preferences. With Citysip, tourists and locals can share their best insights about favorite drinks from different coffee shops.
