Avo–Cosmic

Restaurant Identity 

The objective of the project was to create an identity for a restaurant in San Francisco, California. This included A cookbook, Menu system and coasters.

The concept for Avo-Cosmic was inspired by the rising prices for Avocados on planet earth. By creating an engaging story for avocado lovers about moving to another planet, they can idealize an alternate life in space. The story of the restaurant owner whose father was an astronaut, creates a connection with her customers. Not only does the concept focus on outer-space, but it also enforces the idea that avocados are an essential ingredient in the lifestyle portrayed in outer-space. Avo–cosmic is an avocado based restaurant with an identity that's fun and  imaginative.

The style of a dreamy outer-space was created to appeal to the lifestyles of many avocado lovers. The pastel color pallet provides a soft look to represent a better life. The dreaminess enforces the idea of extra-terrestrial life and avocado growth in space. The type treatment adds an inviting and personal touch to the branding of the restaurant.
